  1. WinXP pro sp2, Forceware 162.18. The changes in the panel AF=application controlled, AA=8Q, Tex filter Anisotropic sample op.=off, Tex filter trilinear optimization=on. All else is default and these settings worked very well to this point. I have the BFC DL version and I'm using the digital TH2G.

Schrullenhaft,I think were on the same page I uninstalled the GXM software and ran CM on 1 monitor with no problems in 1680x1050. I then set the res. to 1280x940 16:9 and also 1024x768 4:3 reloading GXM and the other 2 monitors each time in hopes I could 'trick it' but I still can not use the menus once in game :(

I have sent an e-mail to Matrox describing the problem but I think it may be a 2 way street between the hardware and software.

  2. I can load it up on 1 monitor but I can't open the in game options menu to set a specific resolution. I would assume its still loading desktop which is now 3840x800. Is there a config file I can edit in CM's root directory?

Fortunately TH2G is not a video card but instead its more like a switch that is powered by my video card (8800GTS OC). The "switch" divides the signal for use with 3 separate monitors. I will say this the documentation Matrox provides is rather poor and I can't find a dedicated support forum, kind of disappointing for such an expensive product.

  3. Well I guess I was good this year. My family chipped in and got me a Matrox Triplehead2go along with 3 22" Samsung 226BW monitors! I'm mainly a flight simmer and WOW! what a difference this thing makes :D But now that the holy crap factor is wearing off and I'm finding some oddities with other programs such as CMx2.

The game loads ok but when I get to the menu and click on options or any other button nothing happens I've tried runing in single and dual display but still nothing :( anyone have any ideas?

  4. Are all on drugs  After finally getting some time in with this sim I have to say the AI drivers are killing me! Not just my driver but the all of them, I give the order to turn right and my guy goes forwards, backwards then spins for abit and stops no where near right, hell going forward is a adventure all in itself!! Once I asked him to find a hull down position while under fire and he did his little dance and turned right into a shell, the perfect pos was not 20m away! Also i've seen the enemy AI just roll off cliffs! This was funny when I read about it and kind of funny when I saw it for the first time, but it now happened 3 times

    Am I missing something?

Should I not be letting the AI drive?

Should I use the Right tank option?

Should I institute a drug policy?

How are the rest of you doing it?

  5. Hey guys i've had a problem like this before and its most likely the disc. While waiting for support to confirm a mail back I tried something like this:

Create seprate folders on your HD 'Disk1' and 'Disk2' then copy and paste the contents of each CD into the corresponding folders. Find the setup.exe in the disk1 folder and see if it begins to install if so when prompted for disk2, browse to the folder labeled disk2, you may have to browse it to a specific file if it asks. When you run the game you might have to have the CD in the drive if it needs a CD check. Hope this helps, its not a sure fire method but being the weekend....Good luck S!

  6. Hello everyone!! I have been looking forward to this title for a while and have ordered it despite a few unanswered questions.

From searches I understand the campaign is somewhat linear, but have read about random occurrences. In the editor is it possible to add these or are they completely random? also is it possible to create new campaigns with the editor or is it SP missions only? And finally how linear are the campaign missions, do you have to complete all the objectives in order to 'pass on' to the next level? ans if this is the case does each mission play out exactly the same?
