I think the Russian anti-tank rifles need fixing. These units seem way too effective than they used to be in CM. They disable the German Pz III's and Pz IV's, and then systematically eliminate all the crew. The AI must be able to target the crew individually as opposed to just firing on the tank until it stops responding.

So, I should pick a map with two small towns and make the best of it. I can swap in another map at a later date.

I would like to create some historic battles, and I was wondering about the availability of new maps. I need the Carpiquet Airfield just outside of Caen, and the Caen maps don't extend out that far. How are maps created? Are there more maps coming? Do any of the maps have an airfield that I can use until I can create the authentic one?

I have the same problem as Leger. I have wiped the map of opposing forces twice, but I can't get the mission to end. One thing to note, I start with my forces already across the first set of bridges at set up. Perhaps this fails to trigger some event in the game.
Anyone else having problems getting this one to end?

I get about 60 fps in the menu screens using FRAPS. It drops down to 1 FPS in the loading screen but pops up to about 45 fps towards the end of loading. It is flat at 1 FPS in the Last Frontier Mission.
After the CPU Affinity tweak, I get about 12-15 FPS during the Last Frontier Mission. No change in the menu or loading screens.

crashing/locking after night mission

Same here. Have you tried replaying the previous mission? My saved game crashed half way through loading. I am going to try replaying the previous mission and saving again.
