Currently I am running XP on my Dell. I don't have DirectX6.0 installed. I went to the Microsoft website thinking that I may purchase Beyond Overlord. They offer DirectX9.0 for XP. Would I need to download DirectX9.0 Runtime to support BO? If I purchase BO, will the game CD allow me to download DirectX9.0? Thank you!

Will DIF cover PTO and ETO? Also will it include heavy bombing missions in Europe and over Japan? In other words, how similar will the game be to the GMT DIF and Luftwaffe series?

Thank you Rune. I did not know that DirectX was already built into XP. I don't think I will upgrade to 9.0 if I do not need to. I appreciate your help.
