    Thx very much, however I do disagree with the Brits carriers. They are garbage.

    Valentines are the ultimate surprise weapons when armed with 6pdrs - small, fairly well armoured and with a good anti-armour gun (It'll kill Tigers)
    Never heard of any Valentine..except for the mafia :D

    Ok um, in this game vs the original CMBO.. is it just me or are the infantry a bunch of wimps? I mean they die 3-4 at a time, and the worst part is they KEEP DOING THINGS I TELL THEM NOT TOO. Like sneak off somewhere like pansys and get them selves killed. I am really really frustrated with Afrika Corps. The only thing so far that I actually like is the graphics improvment. Other than that, the tanks take 16 million hits before they are killed, the German tanks are 10x stronger. The Brits have a load of crap weapons and tanks. I am tired of playing the stupid Brits there pissin me off ...lol :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

    Oh, and just like the first CMBO you dont get enough infantry ammo. In about 10-12 rounds 85% of your ammo is gone. Then your infantry units are worthless

    By DEFAULT its 1024x768 and that may be the problem. However this is a very "pixely" game and it should not affect it. I play games that require so much more and it run better then freakin Afrika Korp crap. Anyway, no I only have this game running in ther background. And far as trees and stuff off, I am in the desert so uh you cant. :(

    Ty Yacinator for your help, however I beat it before I read it. You said you loved it? I hated it cause I was getting mauled by the Germans. But my good old American pride and army beat them! I am happy to have some hardcore Carentan experience now under my belt though smile.gif . Heres the end results:

    Allied(me)

    749 casualties (346 KIA)

    9 mortars destroyed

    11 vehicles knocked out

    Men OK: 320

    Axis:

    449 casualties (215 KIA)

    3 guns destroyed

    5 Pill boxes knocked out

    9 vehicles knocked out

    Men OK: 275

    Allied MAJOR victory!!! tongue.gif

    PS: Had no idea tank vs Pillbox is rape : :eek:

    OMG these Germans are raping me. I am on 4-6 round game now and they are just ripping me to shreds.

    My main problems are: PILLOBOX'S and Artilary. Dude these guys cant even F#$kin see me and there pin pointing every move I go. The devs designed this campaign to cheat. I go to spot him and everytime the stupid ass spotters are dumb as hell and cant see them. BUT THEY CAN SEE ME!

    The Pillboxes have taken 6 of my Shermans out already with just about 1 shot not even missing 1 time.

    Anyone have some advice/experience to share?

    The Battle of Arnhem

    WOW, just beat it. Very tuff campaign it was for me. Between the hundreds and hundreds of arty rounds, and on-coming armor, I dont know what was worse.

    By the end of all 6 battles, my end of the bridge looked like it had thousands of crater and fix holes from the mortar/arty fire. I dont know how I survived it really. I do know I retreated into the nearest foxholes and house soon as I heard the crack of arty fire crashing down.

    The British Piats...well there better than the American Bazooka I have found so far. However they are still pretty inaccurate. I havent played any AXIS side missions yet, but I am curious to see how the Panzefaust and the panzershrek performs.

    All and all it was tuff and I was on the edge of my seat most the time cussin at the Germans :D . If any n00bs like me find this and would like some advice/strats on defeating this campaign(ALLIED version) I am more than happy to help you. <Salutes>
