[antitank teams]

hi.. newbie here, coupla email games under my belt and leaning (the hard way)

two things do my head in... 1, LOS... but thats for a new thread once I have done more research.

tho main one is antitank teams. theres noting on these boards,nor in the documentation that I can find, about what they do, or how.

what I do know is that you can sit outside a settlement in a stug, merrily bashing away.. and at 100m an antitank team lobs something 100m and you're dust...

how come? they aint got bazookas, it WAS them, who can throw a rucksack that far?

I am sure theres a good expanations for this... but I cannot find it thanks

an aside.. whats the best squad held AT? weapon.. panzershrek (late), zook (late) or piat?

I played the brits in the arnhem one on CMBO and a piat team zapped a stug on the other side of the river... at least thats what i thought as noone else could reach.

Hi..

One of the main probs I have is with spotters. I am aware that they are miles more effective when they can see what they are targetting... but the problem I have is when they can see the target, the target sees them and shoots at them, often taking them out. I spend turn after turn sneaking up, but they still get seen! Suggestions?

Hi all... new to the board and about to have a go at a PBEM game in CMBO. problem is, my opponent has the "special" version and I have the "normal" one, patched up to 1.12.

are these compatible?

this is the fist of what I guess will be a lot of dumb questions... please bear with me!
