Pls. Excuse if this has been covered before.
It would be nice if you could choose weapons and armour not based on nationality. Red force vs Blue force with exactly the same units, ie., all American. Then there would not be any excuse to loosing or winning it would be simply a function of tactics.

I hate bugs - especially when you can't see who's on the bottom.

Do I have to take them copy and paste each individual file - one at a time - or is there a global command ?

I have downloaded a zip file with many new sounds.
The file is unzipped.
When I copy and paste the new zip folder into the original WAV folder it simply shows up as a folder within a folder and does not appear to be activated.

What about time. If you were advancing to contact and it was 4:00am then LOS would be different than at say 7:00am when you would engage. Different seasons different sunrise time etc.
What about direction, like a dawn attack from the east. The attacker would have better visibility than the defender.
Allowing the attacker to choose somewhat the time and weather most advantageous. Put the defender on edge sort of.

Yes. I have heard this figure of 10,000 bullets but it does raise a question of calculation - It is probably derived from dividing total bullet production ( both sides ) by the total number of casualties ( on both sides ) - however a significant number of bullets were never fired - they were lost, stolen, destroyed, captured and those that were not fired due to the termination of the war. Regardless, the point is valid, the number of bullets fired greatly exceeds the number of casualties.

Can't you import the battle map into the Editor then save the map as a scenario ?

P4 1.6GHz with 256mb ram, and Nvidia TNT2 32mb video card. I get the map but to move anything in the setup phase takes hours. Any solution ? Tks.

Would really like to play the scenario " To The Volga " but my machine just freezes with the large numbers of units. Am I out of luck ?

Tks. I'll give it a try - the burning building sounds are covering the pinging shots from the snipers.

How do you turn off the ambient sound and leave on the encounter sounds - ie. guns and tank rumbles etc.

or is that asking for trouble throwing a charge so late in the round and possibly being spoted ?
