  2. Good day everyone.

Anyway, so I've got this ATI card that doesn't support fog table emulation, which I understand is required to display fog in Combat Mission.

Well, supposedly, you can download some 3rd party programs that allows your card display the fog somehow.

I've tried Rage3D and ATI Tray Tools, and none of them seem to work as they should, though. Has anyone here been able to find one that works, or am I perhaps just doing it wrong?

    Thanks

  3. I'm a newbie at these things. When I make an Operation, say I want to play as Germans on defense, and have the Allies attacking, how do I do that? Because you can't have flags in Ops, therefor the AI has nowhere to go. Is there a way you can place waypoints for them or something?

  4. I think it would be quite difficult in the rainforests with all the vegetation, it would be difficult to find all your guys, they would have to make it on a much smaller scale, so that you only control about 50 guys in total, and maybe the odd tank or so, and they should add Friendly Fire, to simulate the screw-ups made with the arial bombing and artillery strikes.

  5. Ideas

    First World War - 1914-1918

    Cold War - 1950s-1980s

We could have the what I like to call the Desert Wars:

Iraq and Iran - 1985(was it?)

    First Gulf War - 1991

    Conflict in Somalia - 1993

War Against Terror, Afghanistan - 2001

    Second Gulf War - 2003

We could also have Combat Mission on a much smaller scale, where you control a unit no larger than Company size, and you can move each individual soldier, and you have to basically bring them all through the war.
