I wonder what his reasons were for opposing American involvement....considering that a lot of money was to be made....KA-CHING!!!$$$$
Did your source mention them?

Will making the circular target arc smaller help?

This is why it pays to have a remote desktop client installed on your home machine. I can connect to it
from work and start the download whenever it's available, then by the time I'm
home I can fire it up and play! No waiting!!
Lucky you! : )
-
Special Request:
Please make it available for download after 6PM EST? It would probably be too unbearable for me if it suddenly became available during my office hours.......... and I have to wait in agony to get home before being able to download!!!!! : )

Is it just me or did plain SPAM get saltier over the years? Used to love it when I was a kid and hadn't had a chance to eat some for a long time. I was quite surprised when I tasted some again. Salty! This coming from someone who likes to eat dried salted fish..
I do like SPAM Lite, though......It's just right!

It's sad to say but, I, a grown man with family and responsibilities is sitting waiting for this module like it's Christmas when Daddy got a pay rise and Mom worked the streets for a week. You know your gonna get something great.
I can totally relate to this statement!
Just hope that loss of power was the only bad thing to happen to those who were hit by Ike....

Had my credit card out and was looking for the "buy now" button but couldn't find it....

Hold the horses guys
Whoah, Nelly! : )
Thanks for clearing this up, Steve I play exclusively in Elite and am glad that you can now see all of your units all of the time. Relative spotting of friendlies was the only thing I didn't like in the Elite setting.

This is going to be HARDCORE! Imagine trying to play this way in real-time!

Here's the next best thing to the book and the mini-series:

I am prety sure that you'd enjoy almost anything done by a scenario designer called George Mc. He's made quite a few challenging missions. Names off the top of my head...
Al Amarah (comes with the game)
Hammertime
Rescue
Cry Havoc
Armour Attacks (BIG)
Just another day
You can find these at
you'll have to register to download anything but free and it's worth it.
Just played "Cry Havoc" last night and managed to get a Total Victory as the US on Elite setting. It wasn't a walk in the park though! Lost a couple of Bradleys and had about 22 KIA with around the same number of WIA.
George Mc's scenarios are definitely lots of fun!

Oh sweet irony. The quote is that of a French general seeing the Light Brigade smash itself to pieces. With that having happened, the Brits refused to send in the Heavy Brigade to cover the survivors. This left the cheese eating surrender monkeys to charge in and save them. Which they did, crashing through the Russian lines and covering the retreat of remnants of the Light Brigade.
As the French say...."touche!"

COH is confusing - Conflict of Heroes is a Board Game. This is what GJK is talking about (and me).
Company of Heroes is not our COH.
Oh, sorry.
-
It's a great game in my opinion. Not the most realistic, but definitely fun!
I have both games (COH and COH: Opposing Fronts). I'm assuming that the new game will cover the Eastern Front?
Graphics and sound are fantastic and it's not your run-of-the-mill RTS where mad rushes with overwhelming numbers guarantee success. To win, you actually have to flank and use combined arms. It's great to watch infantry units go about their business too as they use cover quite well on their own (good Tac-AI) and don't need a lot of micro-management.
Also, no resource gathering. Unit availability is based on the amount of territory you capture and hold.
Here's a well written review of this game: http://jaguarusf.blogspot.com/2007/03/company-of-heroes-review.html
Hope that helps!

I'll chime in!
Started playing 3 months ago. Never was a fan of FPS's, but this is an entirely diffrent thing!
I'm Zappateer over at the servers by the way.
Any of you ever tried joining this? -- http://www.ironcrescendo.net
Campaign 6 is about to start in 2 weeks. Also, instead of playing out the whole Eastern Front, this time the campaign will only focus on Stalingrad.

Hehe..... he said "Normandy release"!
Can't wait!

Thanks, Moon!

Follow up question:
I just pre-ordered the bundle pack (CMSF+Marines). Does this mean I have to wait until the Marines module is released before I can download CMSF? Is there a way for me to get CMSF first and then get Marines when it's ready?
Thanks!
