I forgot about the VJ Parade all-together today. Reminds me about the book I read about the Hong Kong Canadian prisoners taken by the Japanese. It was about a Corporal or Sergeant, whose name I forget. Did a report on it.

Brent suggested to contact Micheal Dorosh about a Ortona scenerio, but it seems that I cannot find anything for this game about the battle. Too bad, really.
But does anyone know where I could find a scenerio for this? I tried checking the CMMODS scenerio list and it dosn't seem to be in there.

If it comes down to using the mortar, then they probobly assume they're surrounded anyways.

In the case of SPR, it was just after the Normandy landings. If the Tiger was in the area, then it probobly wouldn't have seen any combat until that day. Even if before, nothing larger than infantry with a rocket. If the Tiger was being transferred to Normandy from another area, by that time they would probobly already have been repaired and replaced.
But, I will take your word for it. I know the average Grognard around this forum will probobly have a stash of information and obscure details I'll never know

And that is a fault. SdKfz 181 PzKpfw VI Tiger tanks had six layers of armor glass to prevent anything like that happening.
Thanks for the replies. I havn't tried any late war missions yet (been enjoying the African missions alot).
Does anyone know a good place to find scenerios? I'm trying to find any missions based off of the battle of Ortona.

It makes sense, I was just wasn't sure if it was meant to be so. Especially since a big arse Tiger and a thick skinned Chruchill bailed out at the first sign of trouble.
I guess the Tiger crew wasn't feeling particularly too happy in the night either.

I've down the Tank hunter thing a few times myself in CMBB. Hehe, poor T34.
But I was just miffed at the fact that these normal infantry were doing this. The plane I could understand, I was just curious about Joe Ranger taking out the tiger with a frag grenade. But I understand what your saying. I've read the PDF manual to look for this so I was wondering if this was some curious little bug that I found. (I bought the Anthology, only because it was cheaper than getting one. So I have two copies of BO and BB
Unfortunatly I don't have the real manual 
) I guess the Rangers felt like re-enacting the SPR scene, minus the 20mm cutting em down.

I feel a little strange after watching what seems a little odd. Normal infantry squads with no anti-armor capability are taking out Churchills and Tigers with grenades.
I've seen this happen twice. Once in a quick battle match where an Italian rifle squad, making a daring move to run up hill into a house (currently occupied by several cranky Brits).
The funny thing was, my Churchill was parked out side firing into another house with its coaxial when the Italians throw a grenade at it. Tank is 'Hit', engine cuts out, some time later the crew comes running out.
Odd. But I let it pass. I'm not a huge grognard so I don't know what the Italians have in their pockets.
But another odd occurance just a few seconds ago (Alt-Tab is useful) where a Ranger squad, with absolutly no rifle-grenades and no satchel charges throw a single grenade at a Tiger and knock it out. The thing, from what I'm guessing, was about 20m away.
It was mind boggling. I'm sure it was a normal Frag grenade. Or am I just imagining things?

I dont really see the point.
The person is rating the game off of it's graphics as well as a faulty manual. He probobly just got an unlucky shot when it came to the manual. I have all of my pages and it's very good compared to the ones I've seen in others games.
Did he play the game? Or did he boot it up and shut it down? It's obvious this person had no clue what he was buying or else he would know that the game had poor graphics compared to HalfLife2 or Quake66.
If that person dosn't like it, then well, who cares? I mean, I struggle to really see the point of rushing over to Amazon just to make it sound better.

Funny...the problem seems to have fixed itself overnight. Now the game runs great, and I havnt done a thing to it!

Tried turning it on and rebooting, and I see no difference. Game still slows down when selecting a unit, but otherwise is same.
Oh, and if you can, can you name that song in the intro? I've heard it before, but could never remember the name.

Using the Rage3d tool like the support page said, it said that Zmask was already disabled. It runs good with all the doodads goin, but just not whne Im selecting the unit.
Oh, I seem to have forgotten.
I'm running on Windows 2000 Prof.
I can live with the slow ness, considering the only time I really focus on the unit is during orders. It's like CMBO where some of my textues were white.

I've been messing about with it, and came to a conclusion that the slow down comes from the selection of your units. It seems to slow down when showing it's data in the interaction slot on the bottom of the screen or the box that surrounds it.

Hello, I just bought CMBB a few hours ago, and I just installed it now.
I'm getting sluggish performance on my computer, and I've tried lowering the resolution.
I also tried disabling the Zmask through Rage3dTweak, but it wasnt on in the first place.
My system is:
1.5ghz AMD Athlon Processor
ATI Radeon 7200
256mb DDR Ram
Audigy Sound Card
Does anybody know how to make it go faster? I've also taken away some features, but it still dosn't help.
