Great news on being able to convert a Slitherine windows key to a Mac key for CM2 games.  Wish we would have known about that last week or so when Slitherine had all the CM2 products on sale.  Anyway, at least there is a process now, and I really appreciate that being clarified.  Is this just a temporary work around, or will this be the normal way to purchase Mac CM products (CM3, CM2 DLC, etc.) in the future?  Thanks again for all your assistance in this.

While this isn't a change from what's been said previously about Mac support, this does sound a bit less optimistic about there being Mac support in the future.  Steve's message seems a bit more optimistic about Mac support going forward which was encouraging.  Now, given Slitherine's past history of dropping Mac support and BFCElvis' last statement (with a bolded if), I'm not nearly has hopeful we'll see CM3 on a Mac anymore.  Hopefully, I'm reading way too much into this and I'm completely wrong, but only time will tell.

Any word from Battlefront/Slitherine on how we can purchase Mac versions of any CM2 games we don't already own?  All the info I've seen has been about reinstalling/activating Mac versions we already own using the installers and the BFC keys.  Thanks.

I haven't seen a response from BFCElvis or Battlefront.com in regards to my question about if/how we can purchase Mac OS versions of the current CM2 titles.  There are a couple that I hadn't purchased yet, since I didn't expect Battlefront to go away any time soon.
Will the activation codes that are received from purchasing on Slitherine or Steam work with the Mac OS installers that are still on the Battlefront site for the existing CM2 products?  Thanks.

Yes, that is what worries me.  I saw the same thing happen at Slitherine with the Panzer Corps games (dropped Mac OS and IOS versions).  I really don't want to see that happen with Combat Mission.

Quick question for the team.  There has been info (and links) provided to the Mac OS installers to reinstall currently owned CM games.  However, I looked on both the Steam and the Slitherine sites and don't see any options to purchase Mac OS versions.  With this changeover, how would one purchase a Mac OS version of a CM game (say CMFB, for instance)?  Thanks.

I think all us Mac users are well aware that Mac gaming is a small fraction of the computer gaming market.  However, at some point it also becomes a self fulfilling prophecy as well.  One of the reasons Mac gaming is small is that there aren't many good games that support Macs.  We also know that Apple made it difficult at times for devs to support Macs but it seems that they are trying to do better, especially with the new Apple silicon hardware and the conversion software they have put together.
If you think about it, high fidelity war gaming is also a pretty small niche market in the overall gaming marketplace as well but none of us want to see that market and especially CM go away because it's not as popular as Fortnite or RPGs and such.
