  1. Unless I have missed something, as far as I can tell as of the 1.04 patch there is still no in-game support for deleting saved game files. You still have to use explorer to navigate to the CMSF saved game folder and delete them.

For the 1.05 patch could we finally get an update to the UI to support deleting saved game files. This is a pretty basic IU function to still be missing at this point.

  2. While I am not a "hardcore" war gamer I have played the CM games off and on for the last few years. I currently have CMAK installed as well as CMSF.

I have played several CMSF battles all in RT (with lots of pauses for commends).

I found going back to play CMAK after playing CMSF for a few weeks now that I don't enjoy the WEGO as much and find myself wanting to be able to pause the game so I can adjust my orders as the situation changes.

So at this point while I will still play both games I am finding myself liking CMSF more as I learn more how to play the game I will probably be playing it more and CMAK less. I find the RT game play to be very immersive.

  3. I have been playing the download version of CMSF for a few days now and have run across a problem.

If during the game I use ALT-TAB to escape to the desktop everything appear ok. I can launch other programs and return to CMSF with no apparent problems.

However when I finally exit CMSF the mouse moves normally and has the normal arrow cursor but if I click on the start button or click on a desktop icon to launch a program nothing happens except the mouse cursor may turn into the hourglass cursor.

In any case I cannot get anything to execute once exiting CMSF. I cannot even ALT-TAB-DELETE to the task manager. The only thing I can do is power off the PC and reboot.

This problem ONLY and ALWAYS appears to happen if I ALT-TAB while in game.

    My system specs:

    Dell Dimension 8400

    P4 3.4GH, 2GB RAM

    Windows XP Home with SP2

    Nvidia 6800GT, forceware 93.71 drivers
