I had exactly the problem you describe and try as I might i could only get the rulesets in and not the mods.
I actually came onto this site to find the answer so your topic was very handy!
Firstly, Apache's solution does work, or at least it did for me. I uninstalled CMMOS 4.03 and removed the zip files from the folder I had installed them to (just in case, well you never know with computers just what is causing the problem).
When I reinstalled CMMOS it worked perfectly, and then i did as apache suggested and copy and paste the mods over to separate files.
One thing I did notice tho is that not all the mods I downloaded would load in. So make sure you are loading the correct mods to the correct ruleset or they wont work.

Hi chaps and chappesses,
Please can anyone out there provide a list of CM abbreviations?
I am relatively new to this game but am extremely keen to learn the numerous strategies and tactics so kindly provided by a multitude of gamers. Most of which I have managed to gain some grasp of with my little pea-brain!
However I do sometimes get flummoxed in mid stream when given an abbreviation for something and I dont know what the abbreviation stands for, so it kinda leaves me a bit confused.....(or maybe everyone else knows what they stand for and I am just being a bit thick!!)
eg: IIRC, MLR, AAR, HT, etc etc ad infinitum....
It would help sprogs like me to have a list of abbreviations.....Pretty please

Anyone know where this has gone?
I have been trying to get to the 'tips and tricks' section and have had no problems finding it for a coupla months, suddenly it has disappeared!
Would be grateful for a pointer in the right direction.
