Scintilating stories of super snipers, I recall a cmbo battle where my lone gunman took out a hotchkiss from 300m, one shot and it was abandoned!
Shame I can't buy that same crackshot in the pbems I'm playing.

Or it might be a case of restricting amphetamine rations to certain artillery units?
Is that why 81's are more expensive?

If you need the mod in a desperate rush {non cmmos} i'm sure it's at the mod database, so you can plug it into your bmp manually.

seems my java is fine,
'stuffit' is the problem,
i'm pretty dull when it comes to dll's, they just don't wanna work, guess it's back to v1.01 till i solve it.
If you chaps ever get a moment to winzip these brand new versions though i'll be straight on to them

Hi, wonderful job your doing, just a tad of a tech problem though, I downloaded Biltaid v1.01 a while back, went through the bowles of java and it's all running fine, having a heck of a time though with Biltaid v1.03, how do i get it up and running, it does'nt respond to the msdos prompt, seems the file contains a Stuffit File(and a read me file,) waaaah what do i do? I can crank it open with winzip but it just appears as a word file, where do i stick it? If anyone can help i'd be delighted, particularly when the rest of you seem to be campaigning in Russia while i'm stuck camping in Bognor! :confused:

Not sure if relevant, (or true), but a friend mentioned that german helmets underwent a change in the war? British commandos supposedly found that while in hand to hand combat, german troops necks could be pulled back and snapped due to the design of the helmets if they managed to get close enough to get a grip.

Just wondering if there are any unit portrait mods out there, i've come across some at the mod database, but they're slightly spartan, just need that extra edge of character for my troop. Can you use the cmbo portait bmps for cmbb regarding this, if so does anyone have the bmp list for what to alter.

Arrghhh, time to get meself flamed, I picked up Jagged alliance 2 the same time as CMBB back in january, did'nt load up cmbb for a fortnight till alliance got completed, thankfully the alliance expansion pack killed the addiction, you really need to get all those other games out of your system before loading up CMBB (tad of sadomasochism on my behalf
just completed silent hill 2, that's put me off console gaming for another six months!
Still have x-com apocalypes on the system (so sweet!)
an' i took 'The longest journey' sometime in the spring,
otherwise all my time is still spent out there on the tundra.
