In BCRAV Gold v2.0, Note 12 refers to Appendix D, but I can't find it anywhere????

I want to try the BCR Apache variant, but have a couple of questions first. On #27 ( Force Size )

how is Appendix A ( Unit Experience ) used in the calculation? Also, reference is made to Appendix B, but I can't find an Appendix B.

Could someone please give me a bonehead explanation of these terms and maybe where I might look for more information. Bear in mind that I am a technical idiot. Thanks.

[Quick Battle CTD's]

I just finished turn 30 of a 30+ Quick Battle, and got a CTD when I hit DONE. This happened once before when I was playing an operation. It turned out that I had not installed the v1.01 patch. When I installed it and replayed the entire mission everything went OK, so I thought that the problem was solved, but apparently not.

After this last occurence I also did a couple of short quick battles to see if this was some sort of intermittent glitch but I always get a CTD on the last turn.

Everything else seems to be ok except on the Choose Side screen when setting up, the Axis option is greyed out. However I can click on it and everything proceeds as I would expect it to.

I posted my original problem on the Troubleshooting forum and only got 3 responses, which is why I am using this forum this time. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated

I just ran across a set of splash screens by jmbunnelle ( "Seven More Mainscreens" ), but the link to download them is no good (http://eaw.free.fr/JB/Kiev.zip etc. ) I cant find anything under this name in the mod database.

Does anyone know where I might find them? Thanks

[Which mods for which game?]

I'm new to the game and at the moment I'm only playing CMBB. I've downloaded a lot of mods and many of them are for CMBO, which has caused a lot of confusion when they don't appear when I expect them to. Thanks to the help of forum members I'm now getting it sorted out, but it occurred to me that since BB came out after BO the date on the mod could help me eliminate a lot of mods made for BO. Can anyone give me an approximate date for when CMBB mods started showing up? Thanx Bo

[CMBO vs CMBB]

I am new to CM and have run into problems with mods. I am only playing CMBB at the moment and have been trying to load several mods, many times with no luck. One of my problems, I just found out, is that I have been trying to use CMBO mods in CMBB. I didn't know that they are not compatible, and often I cant tell if a mod is for CMBO or CMBB. Some sites give this info, others dont. Is there a list somewhere that would tell me what mods are for what game, or am I simply going to have to use trial and error? Thanx Bo

[Winter uniforms]

Michael - the bmps I was referring to are from Winter41.zip located in 41_HEER.zip). They are:

59001, 59002, 59003, 012, 036, 037, 042, 043, 046,

127, 130, 133, 136, 141, 160, 160, 164, 168 and

59171.bmp. While checking these I looked at each individual bmp and none of them show white - all field grey/green, so I guess that could be why I wasn't seeing what I hoped to see. So to check to see if I still had a problem I copied the bmps

from mdmp2 into my CMBB BMP folder. They show up as white, but do not appear in the game.

BTW, I tried to install your _CMMOS_German_Uniforms using CMMOS, but it would not load. Logtext says it is improperly formatted. Thanx for any help. This whole business is starting to get very confusing.

[Winter uniforms]

I'm not having any luck in getting winter uniforms to show up in the game. I have dowloaded several different sets with no results.

I copy the bmp's to the bmp folder. I assume since the scenarios show snow on the ground that I wouldn't have to do anything else. For example, I just downloaded 41_HEER.zip and copied the enclosed Winter41.zip bmps but I still get the default german uniforms. Am I missing a step here?

it makes mention of the "DD terrain mod set", but the download link is missing. Does anybody have any info on where I can find this? Thanks

After installing the patch it played without a problem. I had installed a graphics patch thinking it was the game patch. Thanx for the heads-up.

I was playing against the AI. As it turns out I did not have the v.101 patch. I tried not giving orders on turn 17 but the result was the same. I have installed the game patch and am trying it again and will post the result.

While playing Operation Blitzkrieg, at the end of turn 17 of the second battle when I click DONE it crashes to the desktop. I have gone back and replayed from a saved turn a couple of times but the result always ends up the same. Any ideas?
