I decided to do a mod so I turned a picture I had into a splash screen. I made bmps' for all three resolutions. They are at the usual place: http://www.cmmods.com.

Have you tried to right click the zip file-then cut-then paste the zip file to the folder you want to move it to? Try that
I do that when I download a whole bunch of zip files from my original download file to where I want them. I will check back later today to see if this works for you Winks

I agree with WineCape-I dont give a rats buttocks if I find 100 mistakes-I got my (free-revised-no cost-express shipping) copy 2 days after it was announced as released and I am happy as hell
Did I mention that this copy I got two days after it was released was free-revised-no cost-express shipping Can anyone give me an example when they received a free-revised-no cost-express shipped replacement for something they bought from another company-DOUBT IT :eek: Nuff said -
They know there is a problem and are working on it. I am sure they will let us know when it is fixed

I tried the 40's and went back to the 30.82. Kept having problems also. The 30.82 works for me

You definitely need more RAM regardless of what video card you buy. Ram is so cheap now you can get a 128Mb stick for 7 bucks at Best Buy

I just got my copy of the magazine today. BTW-I have every single copy of this magazine since the first issue came out in 1980 something. Every issue even has the throw away subscription cards in them
I was thinking about putting them on e-bay but I cant part with them. I'll let my kids sell them when I am planted at the Custer Battlefield Cemetery -

Modpacks are great as long as you dont have a connection like my Bro does that runs at a real strong 5.5k on it's best day

I surf a bunch of forums from racing to flying to war games and I need a spell checker just to figure out what people are trying to say
I dont mean to start a flame war or nothing but personally I dont give a hoot in hell if a word is mis-spelled or not. I have seen college text books with mis-spelled words

Just got my copy. A well constructed book with text that us old farts with bifocals can read quite easily.
Part4-From the Horse's Mouth is a great question and answer section I will definitely be reading in depth
They should have called this book "CMB2B for Dummies" This book is on the same great quality level as the "For Dummies" books that I purchase-only it is 10 to 15 bucks cheaper.If you dont get this book you are going to kick yourself.
Just my 2 cents.

I did splash screens for both the Overlord and Afrika Korps games at the same time and I was not paying attention to detail-sorry. Oh well, what do ya expect from an ol'fart
