  1. Couldn't resist & couldn't wait any longer for Mikey to come up with the goods - but just seen thread below so his camo shouldn't be far away. In the meantime you can get this green and brown camo from www.cmmods.com in the CMAK section. Also works in CMBB. Thanks to MikeyD for such a great scratch mod - it really was a pleasure to camo it.

  2. I am updating an old JorgeMC PzIVH camo mod to incorporate the new textures introduced by BFC in v1.02/1.03.

My question concerns the running gear. Is the default running gear accurate or do I need to replace it with the modified sprockets that Dressler put on his IVJ mod.

I have searched the internet but cannot come up with the answer. Any help appreciated.

    Thanks

  3. I would recommend Tarkus' Steel Interface mod - gives the whole game a fresh look and VERY professional.

As for armour - everything by

If you like dirt on your tanks look for Mr Noobie

Also look at my grey Panzer III's - one set weathered based on an original panzermartin mod and another set imported from CMAK that is more in keeping with BFC artwork.

The original PzIII's just arn't up to the same standard as most of BFC's armour.

  4. It kind of annoys me that some scenario descriptions overlap the right hand side of the scenario list and I would like to edit them to make them shorter.(on other people's scenarios)

I have tried using the editor and cannot access the field.

I have tried opening the scenario file itself in Word and making the changes but then the scenario will not load in game.

    Anyone know the solution??

    Thanks

  5. Some really useful info here - thanks guys.

I reckon 1280*1024 with a Radeon card and anisotropic filtering cranked up will give good graphics but NVidia must edge it for CM gaming at least with the ability to use FSAA without text issues, also use anisotropic filtering & get fog represented.

    So I go with NVidia.

Again thanks to the posters for helping me out with this..... smile.gif

  6. A good point GAJ. I have a monitor that has a max of 1024*768 and FSAA makes a HUGE difference to the quality of the graphics. In fact with a lowly GeForce 2 Ti and 28.32 drivers and with 4 times FSAA enabled on Windows 98, CM graphics are superb. What I don't want is to buy a new PC and end up with a worse CM experience! However the new PC will have a flat screen at 1280*1024. Does anyone know if this will have the equivalent effect as using 4 times FSAA on a 1024*768 screen?
