OK, I had to force the game to run in XP SP2 compatability mode and it gave me the option of running in 1280x1024.

Thanks, I'll try changing the screen resolution and launching CMBB tonight. The driver is from the NVidia download site:

I installed this driver as the one that came with the machine didn't provide for antialiasing and other features.

Hello,

I just got a new machine:

Duo core 2

Nvidia 7300 LE

20" digital widscreen flat panel

Vista 32

The native resolution is 1680 by 1050. CMBB always installs at 800 by 600 (that is the highest it offers during the initial scan). Is there a way to get a higher resolution for the game?

[Hi there]

CMBB is the last game I bought.(years ago) It is the only game I play. Good graphics are nice, but this game survives on replayability and versatility. There is always something new to try. A campaign for it could expand the replayability tenfold as the game length and the value of not letting my troops get wasted to capture a flag before time runs out will keep me happy for a loooooong time.
