Oh boy. IanL if i have the big bundle full install is that all I need? I had planned to load the original from the disk, then patch with 1.12 and then game engine 3, and then the big bundle. This is what you get after being gone so long. You know next to nothing about how the game works anymore. Anyone remember the Rumblings Of War Tournaments. Those were good days.

Now that full installs have been explained to me I will try this again. I live in the sticks and my phone is my internet connection. When it works right. Had my son download all the full installs and will give it another try tonight. Any hints or suggestions on the order of installs/patches would be appreciated.

Everyone thanks for the replies. I have recently returned to CM and am trying to catch up. I just recently purchased the GL and have an activation key. I do not understand what a full installer is. This is all confusing to me. I have the disk with the 1.0 install. I have installed the 112 patch. I have purchased the v200 and 300 upgrades, and the big bundle. It seems that I am not installing/patching/licensing the game in the proper sequence. I can download GL scenarios from the internet, and place them in the scenarios folder, they work. I just don't seem to be able to get the scenarios and campaigns that come with GL to show up. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

downloaded a couple of GL scenarios, placed them in the scenario file and they work. Also show up on a search for gl*.btt. Go figure.

There are no GL.btt files on my computer. I did not know there was an install for GL. The website says: " There is no download for this product! As long as you have an up-to-date installation you already have 100% of the files you need. Check the Base Game's page to see if you're up to date. Your are allowed to have two activations at one time for one or both operating systems. " I enter my GL activation code and it says it is successful.
When you say to download the full installer is that the base game? Should I uninstall the game and start over? If so what is the sequence of the installs/patches/upgrades.

Where do the Gustav Line files/scenarios/campaigns come from? A patch or one of the upgrades?

I found the files in my documents as you said. There are no Gustav Line scenarios.

I don''t see a scenarios folder. There is a Data Folder with Gustav line v110a.brz, 110c.brz.

I cannot see the new battles and campaigns that come with Gustav Line. When I launch the game the screen shows the GL icon in the lower left corner. The lower right corner shows v2.00 and game engine 4. When I activate GL using my key is says success. I have turned off virus protection and run no mods. Any help would be appreciated.

I searched but did not find any related posts. I have noticed that sometimes when I split a recon/scout team off of a squad and then rejoin them the reformed squad only has the ammo of the recon team. Anyone else seen this?

When I went to the control panel to delete my CMBB demo, I noticed that the CMBN was X'd out. I deleted it, turned off Norton and reinstalled. It seems to be working now. Thanks for your reply.

I cannot get the demo to run on my laptop. I load the game and get all the way to the scenerio and then get the open gl error. The game crashes, and the play buy screen comes up.
I have a HP Elitebook 8540w, with the Nvidia Quadro FX 880m graphics card. Running windows 7 pro. I have tried the latest drivers from HP and Nvidia, but nothing seems to work.
Help would be appreciated.

I apoligize Winecap that I am a glutton and drank all of your fine wines so quickly. If I am ever so lucky as to win another Row, I will make sure to make the wine last much longer.

I have waited a long time for BF to return to this era. I have many fond memories of my times playing the ROW tourney's. I won some and lost some, but it was fun as hell. Winecaps wine was gud, I saved a bottle for years, but drank the last bottle with good friends. I am looking forward to reconnecting with all the ROW die hards again.
I hope Walpurgisnacht is around. He beat me like a rented mule in Row V, and I need revenge.
I have pre-ordered Normandy and will be there for ROW VI if it happens.

I had to reinstall the game with a new video card SB Audigy. When I try to run the game I get a blue screen "fatal error" in file NV4-disp. Can anyone help me get this running again?

I preordered the game. got my download, but I have yet to receive my cd. Where do I go to inquire about this?

I tried the Demo, did not like it. Did not pre order and won't order this game in it's current state.

I have been to the cmmods site and don't seem to be able to find this cmak grid. What is the file, name or just where in cmmods is it?

I have downloaded and am trying to install the newest and greatest cmmos files. Specifically when trying to install CW's Tracers v2. It seems to load correctly I do have two Icons in the Misc. Tab. When I try to apply my choice of tracers I get the following error "TProgressbar out of Range".
When I try to install the MD Grossdeutshland I get an "Invalid Mod Archive".
Any suggestions?

I have been playing around with the 103c version. I had 3 stugIII's firing at an infantry unit just over the crest of a hill. All the rounds were landing short. As I got down at level one then worked my way up to level 3, it seemed that the stugs probably should not have been able to see the unit as they were on a lower elevation. Just an observation! I know that there is an abstraction of what you can see, and what the computer actually sees. If you still need files on this bug I can send them.
In the same files are examples of units being engaged, pinned and sneaking parrallel to the units engaging them. It would have been much safer to just back down below the crest of the hill instead of crawling to the brush on their left.

SUCCESS. Although I am embarrassed as to how simple it was once I got my hands on the full install. I remember these forums as being helpful and friendly. Even to those who just don't seem to get it
