Do you think that the CM engine has the capability to be used to simulate conflicts in OTHER eras? I was thinking about the Vietnam War specifically. Would the inclusion of low flying helicopters and guided missiles be beyond CMs design do you think? Just a pointless question.

Does anyone know if a units camouflage pattern and the surrounding terrain is taken into consideration when CM is calculating whether a unit is spotted or not? Or is it just based on cover density and the units location and status (hiding or not hiding)? Sorry about the dumb question. Thanx :confused:

Doh!!!
Sorry .....that means that I went into my video properties and changed my antialiasing mode from: Allow applications to control the
antaliasing mode.
To: Manually select the antialiasing mode ,4x
Hope that clears it up for ya.

WOOHOO!!! Thanx Schrullenhaft. After I tried forcing the AA to 4X, I now have NO issues at ALL with CM in XP.

Hi again guys... After playing CM after a while last night, the only graphical irregularities I noticed was in the fonts on the bottom status bar and on the pop up action menu. Other then that there is NO problems...the smoke from burning vehicles still looks nice and muzzle flame and smoke also looks normal. I guess I can live with it the way it is....I mean I usually use the hotkeys to give out orders anyhow, so that just leaves the buggered text on the status bar... *sigh*...oh well. Thanx again guys.

Hi guys...Ok, maybe I have already missed the boat on this CM and XP issue....I installed XP and then suddenly remembered that there was a graphical issue with my beloved CM. Was this issue resolved or soon to be resolved or is it being ignored? Just say the word guys and I will REINSTALL 98SE.

How exactly do you use sharpshooters properly in CM? I find them very ineffective in all manners of combat except possibly for sniping unbuttoned armour crews. Their ammo count is a little low and makes them seem like a poor choice in QB's. Am I missing something in their usage?
