I've just downloaded the above updater but MacOS says it can't verify it and won't open the package. Ive tried downloading a second time but with the same result.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Follow the installation instructions that come with the Battle Pack. After installation use the "Activate" shortcut to have access to the license screen. Copy/Paste your license key into the dialog and confirm. The shortcut can be found on your desktop after installation, or inside the Start>All Programs>Battlefront group on the PC, or inside the Documents folder on the Mac
Detailed activation instructions are available in the ReadMe file available during installation, as well as in the game manual, and in our Knowledgebase at battlefront.mojohelpdesk.com.

I've just received a quick battle set-up from an opponent. If I click on the 'suggestions' button when choosing units it freezes for a few seconds then crashes. Any ideas?
Mac Pro 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon, 6 Gb RAM, OS 10.8.2

The email shouldn't even be needed. Just log into the store and view your purchase orders. It's got the download link and the license key stored there.

kelpie, the contract you enter with us does not include guaranteed hand delivery of the email notification. Emails get spam-blocked or lost or rejected. We cannot configure your spam filters for you, nor are we responsible in any way for what your internet service provider does. Did you enter your email correctly when you purchased? Did you whitelist sales@battlefront.com to make sure that you receive the email? Even those things do not guarantee email delivery, though.
I appreciate things can get lost, I have checked my spam filters and I have contacted support with details of the transaction through PayPal. I have not yet had a reply.

And I pre ordered but am on the road. LOL Christ I love folks freaking out because they may have to wait 24 hours. It should be called Crack Mission.
I'm not freaking out, just stating I pre-ordered and Battlefront have not fulfilled their part of the contract so - crap service.

No, you shouldn't have white text. That was removed in 1.01B. If you installed 1.01B and your game is running, that's the ticket.
No adjustments were made to speed of keyboard movement. That may come in a future patch. This patch was purely to fix bugs.
Great, it seems to be working.
I did have a fleeting problem with the view number keys. I was at view level 1 and pressed '5' and the view changed but as soon as I let go it shot back down to '1'. After a while it started working again and I haven't been able to recreate it.

I got it from Gamershell following the link on the BF site. It says 1.01B on the download.
To be clear, I don't have white text - should I?

OK, I've downloaded and applied the 1.01B patch and the keys all seem to work now. But, should I be seeing some white numbers on the screen as previously alluded to? 'Cos I aint.

Growl support is great - you need to enable it in 'Options' first though

I downloaded the patch from Atomicgamer and applied it to the game - crashes on launch. Install it afresh, patched - crash.
Jeez, I guess I'll stop playing until you release the next one.

I downloaded the patch from Hull Down and after applying it CMBN crashes on launch. I reinstalled and tried again, same thing. I reinstalled and downloaded the patch again via a link on BFs site and applied the patch. It launched OK but I have no white numbers and the vehicles still freeze.
Any news on when a decent patch may be available?

FYI I have just accessed the site using a Mac and IE5 with no problems. Must be a local problem for you. :confused:

Thanks. I had seen this before and sorted it but under the new OS it's a bit different. I had to close the alert window down before the option to 'open anyway' appears. It is sorted now. Thanks again.
