  1. Looks great, as does all your work. (Also, I really like the colors/pattern of your German Pz38(t), with the "Lozenge" camo). The idea of a mod design for novices tutorial is a good one. I know I could benefit from such an undertaking. I've thought about "dipping my toe in the water", but have refrained from doing so because of the complicated sounding procedures, coupled atop my rudimentary knowledge of working with a computer. A "mod design for dummies" is just what I need, and I'm certain I'm not the only one. Thanks for all your work! smile.gif

  2. All in all, playing CM is the most fun I've had with computer games. It's not for everyone - but for those who do play it, it's totally tits! It's a tactical boardgamer's (i.e. Squad Leader/ASL) dream come true.

You may want to invest in the "strategy guide". Just hang in there, you'll get better. I'm definitely better than I was 6 months, a year, two years ago - and I still screw up/get my ass kicked on a regular basis...but I still love it! smile.gif

  3. I love this new command! As with many/most actions in CM, I've found that the better the unit quality, the more effective (i.e. quick with initial movement, firing immediately upon stopping, and a quick get-away) this command becomes. Two or three veteran/elite/crack untis - whether working together in close proximity of each other, or popping up/around from different directions - can be devastating to one's opponent! smile.gif

In fact I have already some 20-30 vehicles in CMMOS that haven't seen the light of day. I just need to test them and make sure I have don't any typos.

Next up a German uniform CMMOS mod that will be the most complete "tailoring" feature seen yet.

    Yaaaaay!!! :D

Exactly - you knew there was a sniper out there, but that's because even with EFOW on, the player still has a much more omnipotent view/assessment of the map/situation than he would in real life. smile.gif
