Pardon my lack of computer knowledge but I have cmmos installed (v4.02) but cannot remember where I should place new rulesets as I download them.

Well Gentlemen list me among the illiterate-is it permissable to download v 4.0 without previous versions? I go to CMMOS, go to CMBB, go to rule sets, go to configure, hit add,on screen where I have downloaded zips I hie open for a zip file.Screen returns to config screen which contains nothing ? What simple step am I overlooking? Thanks.
