  1. I had to think about this one for a little bit and after I purchased this manual, I realized I got a damn good deal. Even with the cost of shipping, most strat guides are 19.99 and only contain about 60-70 pages -- some more and some less. This contains roughly 300 pages with all kinds of relevant data that will literally save hours upon hours of surfing the net for what you're looking for. If you want to get down to it... Time is money and if it's gonna cost you 15.00 plus shipping to save many hours of investigating, then it's money well spent.

  2. I have my new site up that I have been working on for a majority of the day. There is A LOT of content to be added such as TACTICS!!! There are a lot of other goodies on the site and I would like your opinions so far. The forums are also up. Apparently it does not work with a WWW in front of the address. The address to the site is:

    http://cmtactics.no-ip.com

The 'Tactics' button does not work as of yet. I need to get some of these together first. Given that I've been working on this just today, I think I've gotten a lot done. Please let me know if something doesn't work. I have emailed the guys here at Battlefront to make sure everything used is ok.. Let me know if you guys like it and how it could be improved. Thanks!!!

    Sincerely,

  3. OK... I've been working on a website with NO FRAMES... I agree.. They are a pain-in-the-ass. It's going to look a little amateurish at first, but what you're going to notice is that there is A LOT of information in these pages. Of course, it's going to focus on CM tactics, but I have added a page with links pertaining to WWII information such as WWII Armor, WWII Aircraft and Diplomacy of WWII. I've even added site links to things like the WWII Veteran's Website, The National WWII Memorial as well as some other things.

I did not find a free web host. HOWEVER, A buddy at work told me about something cool where I can run the webserver from home after downloading a neat little utility and getting a domain name for free.. So.. I have been working on creating the pages. I don't know how long it will take or how cool it will be. Given my luck, the harder I work on it, the more people will dislike it.

  4. Here's an updated list of ALL of the CM: Barbarossa to Berlin reviews that I could get my hands on for all those non-believers out there or for those that just want to read more on the smart purchase they made... smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif

  5. I really don't think those reviews gave the proper justice that Combat Mission deserves. Reviewers ALWAYS comment on how the outdated graphics "have to go" etc. etc. in the constant slew of games they review. What they don't realize is that graphics are not AS important as gameplay itself.

You can read this in any gaming magazine. It's been a popular argument for some time.

It's like dating a chick with big breasts and an awesome figure, but she's a complete bitch inside.

I'd much rather find a woman who is average to above average looking, but has a spectacular personality.
