[Sharpshooter]

Hi everyone.

I am just wondering how I best use my sharpshooter.

I try to hide the in covered places, and only shoot enemy high commands.

They are always detected thoug, and eliminated.

Any tips on how to use them more efficintly in combat mission

KMD-K6 III MMX 3dNow,477 Mhz. 96 MB Ram

Video Trident Cyberblade i7AGP

(whereof 8 is used for Shared Video RAM)

Its a HP pavillion Laptop running Win98

I have DX8, and installed the latest patch.

I have this seemingly commin problem:

The game tends to freeze. The mouse locks, and when I click a mouebutton it sounds beep. Just after I commissioned my orders an pressed gobutton.

YES - my soundcard and video card share the same IRQ.

The problem persists if I turn off sound hardware acc.

Of what I've understood this could perhaps be some IRQ conflict between Soundcard and videocard, or maybe a mouseproblem.

If so where could I update my drivers?

The game wont accept transluct buildings,

And dont know why.

PS

I have very low tech knowledge about this

kind of stuff, I just wanna issue my orers and play the game.

ohh, My bad

It seems that the transparency effect isn't coming thru to well on my system, so I turned it off=everthings fine.

Could I make the transparency thing work, or is it bound to my graphics card or something?

But this 'feature' doesn't effect gameplay in openlandscape scenarios, but dont you feel

that its a bit annoying in the cityscenarios?

Someone(read BTS) should really fix this annoyng thing.

The game runs very well in all aspect, except

when I richtclick on a unit to display

the ordermenu.

The ordermenu is not rendered topmost on the

screen, but dissappears behind walls, which makes the game impossible to play.
