  1. i will be purchasing cm soon as i can. in the meantime, i would really like to read how some of your battles played out, in as much detail as you feel. if this is already being done on some other section of the board, please smack me across the face and let me know where i can go. i cant ever remember being this anxious about a game.

  2. my friend is having problems with the demo.

his computer (im not a techie but heres the basics:

    win 98

    amd-k6 II 350 mhz

ati rage agp 4mb video card

    128 megs ram

    directx 8.0 installed

the demo comes up nicely, and the first scenario looks fine, and i was surprised at how good the graphics look with his low end system. but after about 20 seconds of starting the first scenario, the game locks up, and the last sounds heard begin to loop. ctrl+alt+delete is required to get out of this.

btw, thankx for easing my mind about perf probs. now i have no reason not to purchase.

  5. its unanimous then, i will probably buy cm thanks to you guys. unless i post the same question on a shogun board and get completly opposit biased opinions towards shogun. then, im back at square one. but, i think the demos should help me decide personally. thanx for the input. just hope my 16meg video 350mhz and 128 ram is enough for this game.

  6. i will be buying one or the other soon, and i know they are different, so it is hard to compare the two. im am asking if there is anyone who has played both, and which game did they enjoy more. i have done some searching on the internet and found these to games to be the most interesting, and i play to download the demos for each. in the meantime, any input would be nice.
