[Has anyone been able to fight after facing 14" artillery?]

I am in Houston and have been to the Texas before. IIRC it had 14" guns as it was a WWI battleship. I seem to remember reading a blurb that it served as the flagship of the USN in both WWI and WWII. Maybe it was only the atlantic fleet though... I know for a fact that it ws at Normandy.

Thanks. That worked wonders. Just copied everything over (had to say no to all of the mod files though, that took a bit) and now my CD only runs on startup. The game is much faster now.

[Full Install?]

It is 40x or 44x. I forget. It seems to be acting up lately. Btw..I am on Windows -- no on e out there knows how to do a "full install?"

I was wondering if an grognards out there could explain how a rifle grenad actually worked in real life? I mean I have seen them in photos, and know they go on the end of the Rifle, but how were they launched? Like a PIAT or a bazooka? Neither? As a related question -- any idea how effective they were in the field against men and vehicles?

Now, in CM -- what does it look like when they are shot? I have seen many thrown grenades, but I dont believe I have ever seen a RG launched -- or I just dont know what I am looking for. And how effective are they in CM? I see them disappearing from my inventory, just never see any effect...

Is it possible to do a full install of the game so my CD-Rom doesnt go crazy the whole time? I would imagine that I could just copy everything over, but I dont want to mess something up.
