IT WORKED
Thanks for the advice! I just saved the download into the CM directory and ran it from there.
Finaly i can get the new updates

I have run all of the .exe's and none of them have the patch i installed. I know it was in the right directory for sure.
I have no idea why the problem is ocuring, even by manualy moving the files into CMBO directory it does not update the game

I have had this exact problem, ive installed to the correct directory, numerous times. The program never reports v23. I have even tryied to intall it to another directory, and move the files into the CMBO folder. It says it is overwriting the files, but nothing ever changes.

Looks to me like a Platoon HQ
hes got a little pistol in his hand, you cant just barly make out.
Possibly a bailillion or company HQ also... you can really tell from a picture.

You can, just press tilde (~) and a text box will appear

I'm having trouble installing the patch, i run the .exe file and it says "extraction complete" however when i go the combat mission folder, i see nothing changed. When i run the program, it is still the old beta, and none of the other files are ever updated
Has anyone else had this problem, or know how to fix it?

*Civization (i cant belive i memorized the tech tree so i wouldnt have to look in the manual every time i played)
*Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe (it was just too fun shooting down B-17s
*X-Wing
*Empire Deluxe (I still want to PBEM this one)
*Starcraft
*Ultima Online (I hate it, but its addicting)
Combat mission is getting on this list, doesnt beat Civilization though

Im not sure exactly what the problem is, but if you have IP masquerading, its quite difficult to host a game.
To find your real IP adress, you can either run winipcfg.exe or there is a page posted somewhere else on this board that will tell you what your real IP is.

I have IP masquerading, so finding out my IP this way is very useful, thanks for the site.

Is there any way that it can be made possible to check Lines of sights from units during TCP/IP games after you click go. It would be nice if i could still even be able to give orders, incase i see anything i missed.
It is boring waiting for a slow opponent, so i usualy begin analyze each unit, and to be able to change little commands and check LOS after i clicked GO would be really nice.
