  1. Yes an airsoft bb does have its limitations, But you can customize your projectile and your weapon. Their are different weights .2 grams is standard. Sniper rifles usually shoot .3 gram bbs. The extra weight helps the projectile maintain its inertia longer. Also we use a hopup that puts a backspin on the projectile to increase its range.

This video shows an upgraded spring powered rifle shooting out to about 90 yards

Hehe... actually, the Army has experimented with a sort of Squad pack mule thing IIRC. The main problem is the logistics of keeping them running. That and probably expense!

One of the theories behind Stryker based infantry is that they keep most of their kit stowed in the vehicle itself. This is nothing new for Mech Infantry, who have had their tracks to stash stuff in, but the tradeoff has been smaller numbers of boots due to the more limited seating. Now Stryker ICVs provide the same footprint as light infantry platoon, but with the ability to lug around as much gear as the Mech guys. This is reflected in CM:SF. You can run over to a Stryker and "top off" your ammo.

  3. I would say that the U.S. military is light years ahead of Syria in prehospital care. I am a paramedic with the New York City Fire Dept. My future son in law is in the U.S. Army serving in Germany. I questioned him on what type of training he received in basic training for first aid. He explained they have a Combat Life Saver skill they must pass. That included more than basic first aid and included I.V. placement. This training is for the basic infantrymen. I know a medic can do more performing advanced trauma life support. I had the opportunity in the early 90s to act as a field trainer for members of the U.S. Special Forces. The military sent medics to ride along in ambulances and assist in trauma centers in the city emergency departments. At the time New York was not a happy place with crack being real big at the time. We would do multiple shootings during a single tour, Sometimes while rounds were being fired and prior to the arrival of the police.

The most important thing to remember is without effective evacuation and timely surgical intervention all the buddy aid in the world is worthless. I imagine with an invasion of Syria they would be a near total collapse of any medical infrastructure. I imagine most doctors and educated people would be heading out of dodge with their families. Similar to the situation that occurred in Iraq.

My writer is drive D and my Rom is drive E. The game will not launch from from the later after applying the patch. Hope this tid bit saves someone from a little frustration.

  5. CM is listed as PCGamer's turned based strategy game of the year. In thier March 2001 issue. Also the general lists CM as his game of the year.

The column also has a website that supposedly has over 9000 war movies. it is www.belleandblade.com.

It has alot of hard to find movies and gives accurate descriptions if the quality of the picture is poor they will let you know.

And they have Zulu on DVD wide screen format.
