where can i get that victory flag mod? the one with a red v on it, i know its not a good description but i've seen it on the screenshot used on the narrow order lines. :confused:

Thanks for the answers and I do apologise if people think that Im hassling BTS for this and that. Although I can only add in my defence I don't know anything concerning military matters only what seen from from films and playing the Close Combat games where they represent piats etc with 2 men.
I would like to think that my blatant ignorance of this subject shows what a good game CM is that non genre people can enjoy (and admire) the game.
I must admit you chaps sure know you're stuff here and from reading your posts you can learn alot.

Johns idea for "tea party" would be even better if the Americans could join in too as they could provide much needed suguar, after all it was rationed.

Is there any chance of Anti tank teams being given sidearms?
Its always in the back of my mind they should have but when I played a game last night only to watch my AT team burst into a building only to discover an enemy AT team there as well!. Needless to say they appeared to have a chat, a cup of tea (yes my side was British) but no signs of brutual battlefield violence.
By the way still a great game and I hope all those who work on it (that includes all you mod guys too) are very proud of what you have created.

I would like to agree with all that Mscano said in his much better written argument concerning the turn limit.
Mscano Im glad you raised this point and I hope we now have got ball rolling on this subject.

Is it possible to do something about the game just ending once the turn limit has been reached. Something along the lines of being a clear holder of the victory locations for a certain length of time, reaching a level of victory etc...
The Sid Meiers Gettysburg game comes to mind as an illustration of how this could be done.
I remember that someone else has raised this issue as well also using Gettysburg as an example and I would like to appologise for not remembering their name.

Its a funny I own a couple of pirated games (not CM I must point out!) and when I have thought about it you come to think of the pirates as the common man fighting the evil corperations.
And yet they bootleg CM when BTS are far closer to the littleman fighting the corps and then try to do this to Madmatt.
Hearing about this has made me open my eyes.

Where did this patch appear from! I just logged onto the internet looking for those nice new shiny textures and discover yet another new patch!.
You gentleman at BTS put all other game companies to shame with your fantastic support for your games and more importantly their players.

Can a halftrack mortar carrier use "HQ" units to act as "spotters" in order to make indirect fire at areas out of its LOS?.
