    you eviel bastards hehe why I ask did u tell me of this mod I lost an entire day playing this running around on all the maps from Caen to Omaha to Norway and god knows where else in that game drooling with every burst of my Mp40. Seriously though its not a bad mod, a bit buggy but good overall. I think some of the maps could be a bit bigger but my fav would have to be Caen. Well now I have to divide my time between CM and this, what a mess and I only have you guys to blame for ummmmm both hehehe

    T'was The Night Before Xmas

    and all around the house

    no sounds of war echoing

    not even the feverish clicking of my worn out mouse

    The Arty Fell Quiet, no bombings by air

    my troops stood still not making a peep

    quiet too was my foe, who attacked yesterday with his pesky tank killers, and spotted with big ass arty from a jeep

    When out on the battlefield there arose a loud roaring cheer

    one not caused by naked women, or even a few keg of beer

    Up on the horizen I saw the damndest thing

    A fatguy in a red coat and wooly looking red hat waving a white flag

    well surely one would think he's nuts at first

    Driving a sleigh between the lines

    and the coat kinda made him look like a fag

    That was of course until he got closer and turned out to be old St Nick.

    The mood among all troops quickly turned from glum to cheer

    like agesless children, who dreamt they were anywhere but here

    He stopped and greeted all, gave them candy and a few kind caring words

    Germans and Americans Side by Side

    an image so lovely it almost made me cry

    My Tigers roared up and parked on their flank

    A crew quickly unloaded and sprung out a cooked huge turkey

    and placed it upon their tank

    A tree was quickly put up, decorated with bullets and grenades

    the new mod'd tree made it so festive, we even held a parade

    if only this laughter could last through the night

    So as the fat guy quickly faded

    so too would this night

    for tomorrow I go looking again

    for another online fight

    to even my score which now stands

    well at the moment 1-3

    but I have high hopes and maybe tomorrow

    I'll have another joyful victory

    So until then I bid all a good night

    wishing everyone a merry christmas

    until our paths cross

    putting you in my site

    found a neat website to do a kick ass battle from but need some more maps and reference help for it. Its based on the battle for Gemmano Italy and the website called it the Death Of The mountain Troops, so that alone is worth venturing into doing for the CM community.     Take It To The People

    Thanks, its just that an Idea and why should they shoot it down after all it would free them up to do more for the game and allow the players to build something within our own little tight knit community of CM gamers. Sure they may have a dedicated artist but one person can only do so much so give it a chance and see what happens after all it cant hurt and FREE art and talent is good and the loyal fans will always be there no matter what.

    Ok I know this is a wild and crazy idea but it is new and everything new gets grilled so leave it to me to rock the house. Here Goes, Since CM is being Modified daily by some talented people why doesnt BTS put a call out for various art files they would like for CM2 and let this be a game from the gamers for gamers making it a true peoples game with real people we all know from the board having an active part in the design process. I think it would be a very personal game for all of us to see people we have come to know part of the final game. Simply post the shell art of the vehicles some place for these guys to get and lets see what they can do and let the final top edits be included in the gold version of CM2. Off The wall Idea, but it would be neat to see what people would do for free just for the love of the game, and it would be a first as far as I know to have the public active in the process outside of testing ect.

    Even More New Profiles

    My God Will This ever end hehehe

    After picking up a few more war classics such as Bridge At Remagen,The Dirty Dozen, Escape from Sobibor I just

    had to make more profiles. I felt kinda awkward using SS pics from the Sobibor movie so I stopped about

    15mins into the movie. I hope you enjoy what I have done and if anyone has a request for pics theyd like to see. Those that want this can email me and or wait til posted on various websites just as soon as the guys get em posted :)

    CM compared with Sudden Strike

    A friend of mine stationed in Germany got me a copy of the german release of SuddenStrike. First of all its an apple to orange comparison as one game is pretty much historical and the other has all the eye candy for a good arcade type game and lacks basically all the true unit effects. I do like the graphics however of SS, and there is nothing like watching Katusha's doing their handy work on a German position, but for the long haul CM will be on my hard drive longer than SS. The english version of SS will be released in October from what I understand, so get it if ya want something quick to play and wanna see lots of nifty explosions and stuff being blown to bits and dont mind the historical inaccuracies, but if ya want true to play gaming stick with CM :)

    It is by the best damned map I have ever played hehehe. Pretty bad I made that map and have played it 10x or so. I know where everything is coming in and yet it still is fun to play just to see what the americans do(im a devoted German Player) The AI always suprises me and does something different everytime, but I will give ya a hint.... The Ami's Love the highground and will dig in near and around the roundtops. But Keep your eyes peeled as they don't plan on giving ground easily, Beer is worth defending until your last breath and they do just that hehehe.....

    WOO WOO even more Leader profiles for you folks. I just completed the Brits and Canadians and now SS Profile Pack which puts my entire profile collection over the 100 mark I do believe. Anyone that wants em can Email me directly or wait until theyre posted on CMHQ or Boots and Tracks and any other websites that would like to house these rowdy buggers...

    I've done it again, another movie added to the sinful portrait collection for Combat Mission. This time it was Patton that fell on the cutting board and I got some great leader shots from it for those who are using my other head shots you'll be happy to hear I found Free French and Brit Infantry for this collection. Email me @ sinpoet32@aol.com for webmasters wanting to post this and or for anyone else who would just like to have it. Also you may see it posted on Matts(CmHQ) Site and also WildBill real soon so keep your eyes peeled....

    Gettysburg!!!

    WOW, im deeply honored to see people enjoying one of my first maps, Oh Ok since ya guys loved it I updated the map on Matts page and fixed some little bugs like actually having a seminary on seminary ridge and adjusted to fit in culps hills and some of the houses of the field of battle. Sorry Matt don't wanna stop you from posting anymore hehe :)

    OK guys sorry im going bonkers here, everywhere I see germans or any WW2 Color Pics. I just have to have them in my game hehehe. Someone Mentioned ripping Hogens Hero's and well I did hehehe Enclosed are some of the popular germans from the show Klink and Schultz of course and a few more. Enjoy and someone please staple my hands down or take away my adobe im sick, hooked on making these for my fellow CM fans hehehehe. Hope You Guys Are Pleased :)
