    pretty please.

Oh my, I haven't looked to see if we're playing the same side in the battle you're referring to, but I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!! Any help at all, would be SO appreciated. *sigh*

  2. Hey there folks,

I'm Big Xs aforementioned opponent in this battle, and I'm a little confused at this point. I didn't realize things had gone that way, I thought your morale had broken. Dang, I don't have a movie file left to look at it.

Kudos to you again for playing out the battle as well as you did, the morale break, whoever's it was, surely did effect the score.

    My apologies.

Ahhh, cool! Hey there Rat. I thought you were indeed the newest inflicter of horrific casualties on my poor troops, I just wasn't sure. Pleased to meet you, I'll look forward to our game. I'm having awful computer problems right now, so it might be a day or two till I can reply.

  4. Silvio,

While appreciative of your efforts in planning your moves for Head To The Hills, there's really nothing much to worry about. My troops are all from a "Stomach and ear" battalion, and are currently engaged in gumming turnip soup and hoping the Americans arrive with some better rations soon. With that in mind, your best bet is to simply run all your units deep into my side of the map. After all, the war is almost over, and my boys are ready to welcome you tourists with open arms. Just look for large groups of old men in leiderhosen, we'll be ready to surrender en masse if your boys have any rations or cigarettes.

    Yours in surrender,

    Corporal Jeb

Well, I've played Swamp a fair amount at Tournament house, and he's damn hard to beat, without a doubt. For the most part he buys as much infantry and artillery as he possibly can within the purchase limits. He tends not to buy too much armor at all, as he doesn't need to.

That's really about it. Swamp is without a doubt one of the most skilled players there is when playing a QB. It's not just MEs, either. He'll play attacks and defenses too. I agree though that 52 in a row is just amazing. I might have to get back to tournament house and see if he wants to go for 53 ;)

  6. For reasons that shall remain nameless, (so as not to put you to sleep)I need to obtain a copy of the 1.03 patch. I've looked at a variety of CM websites, and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can grab a copy of it, or failing that could anyone send it to me? Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

  7. Ahh, you did remember me. Nice to hear from ya!

Unfortunately, I'm at work right now so I'm CM-free for the time being. I'd still love to do a PBEM game though if you ever get the inclination.(is there a central listing of PBEM opponents somewhere?)

I've noticed some of the old-hands here and there around the board, not too surprising that this game would reel em all in. I'm really just amazed at how good CM is, it pretty much answers all my prayers for a wargame that I thought would NEVER be answered. I gotta say I still play *cough* the "other" wargame quite a bit still. Oh man, I'm gonna be incinerated for saying that. Seems like there's room for both of them in the world.

Anyways, hope to hear from you soon, I'd be honored to learn the ropes from you some time.I have some great memories of our epic battles.

  8. Hey SSPL!

Man, you probably won't remember me, but I played quite a few battles against you vying for the number 1 ladder spot back in the days of CC2. I take it you're a Pro CMer now?

Anyway, just thought I'd say Hi, it was a blast from the past seeing your name here. I'm pretty new to CM, been playing the full version for a week or two, but I'd love to try a PBEM game at some point. If you get bored enough to wallop a relative newbie, let me know, I'm a glutton for punishment. Have a good one.
