  1. I've now had problems with 1.02 to 1.1. Initially the update failed completely. I think the download was interrupted, and thereafter refused to run properly. I uninstalled, and reinstalled, in a different location. On running autoupdate all seemed to go well, with 270+ (I cant remember exactly) files downloaded. Now, when I run the game it says I'm on V1.02, and I cant join V1.1 games. But I have the infantry units downloaded, and can use them on single player. I've run autoupdated several times since, and rebooted. But no difference.

How may I help you to help me......?

  2. I've seen references to infantry so clearly there are plans for more features, but I haven't come across any official blurb on this. Can anyone give some more detail on this please?

I'm really enjoying the game so far, but I can't wait until there are more players......

  3. Thanks Yurch, makes sense. Junglist, to explain further: I set up a game and deployed loads of turrets and minefields. And of course loads of these turrets were destroyed. At the end of the game I had been killed 43 times, and I can only assume that the majority of these were the turrets that I had deployed being killed. But my kills were low, in line with what I shot at myself. So. When a turret I deploy is destroyed it seems to count against me, but are kills by turrets I've deployed added to my score? Of course, it is entirely possible that none of my turrets actually killed anything....

  4. The manual update worked, - it was the version.ini file in the data folder which seemed to make a difference. Oddly enough the update from within the game is now working, but it is prompting me to update from V1.02. I'll be interested to see if I auto-update successfully to the next version.

    Great game, by the way.

  5. The same 2 inch mortars were still being used in some places by the British Army 10 - 15 years ago - one per platoon I think - but the only rounds available for them were illumination.......and we still had to carry the damn things on exercise. They are pretty small and they sling (awkwardly) over your back as a secondary weapon. They would have fulfilled a useful role as the only guaranteed on-call indirect fire that a platoon or company would have. And running with them is not a problem... smile.gif
