the grass looks like a blurry carpet
the characters look like lego figures and move like they're on a treadmill
the buildings are boxes... boxes
the water looks like carpet also
the woods are rectangular.
the sky doesn't move
there are no light sources or shadows
the vehicles are see-through
the wheatfeilds are also like a yellow carpet.
the road floats above the ground
bts is a ****in lame-ass
p.s. please don't respond cause I don't want to start a flamewar, just my opinion

yes, but there are no other restaurants that serve food, see MadMatt's restaurant has a monopoly on food, you can go to another restaurant and get a drink and have a seat and conversation, but they are not allowed to serve food, see?

no, I was talking to #lobby without being in #lobby
the way to do that is type "/msg #lobby look I am a ghost"
and thats something like what I did say
anyway, yeah, you said you are no longer feeling "gracious" do to the gunslinger fiasco, then you said long story, so you didn't tell Waxx exactly why he couldn't post mods on his site(the real reason is obvious to me, competition)
the fact that you make a contract with mod makers is ridiculous, I would never agree to something like that if I was an author, but it sounds like if anyone wants to get their mod out there they have to agree and sign it over to you
it's obviously not about fun for you, not at all

It’s a win win situation.

have you completely missed everything I've said?
what I am trying to tell to these _______ is that MadMatt is trying for a monoploy which HURTS bts and everyone but him.

no, this thread should NOT be locked up
btw madbot=madmatt

Waxx_IK: would it be ok to post a mod on my site i got from CM HQ without the authors permission
MadBot: no
MadBot: you have to get MY permission
Waxx_IK: didnt think so
MadBot: everythoing on CMHQ is copyroighted by default
MadBot: read the bottom of the page
Waxx_IK: ok, so id have to ask you and the author?
MadBot: just me
Waxx_IK: ok, cool
Waxx_IK: im gonna get some winter textures

you're a nut.

no Matt, these guys don't know what goes on behind the scenes
what I've said is true and I am not a lier
and no I didn't lurk invisible in your server, whatever this is supposed to mean, I haven't returned to your server after being kicked
anyone who posted mods on their non-profit sites wanna confirm that they have been threatened by Madmatt?
if not I'll did up more logs and post the proof here
-
yeah, I'm not really bothered by it as I don't make "mods" for CM as I do 3d models and environments which you can't do with CM, but if I did some work for a game I would not give it to madmatt, as he is gonna claim it as his own and not let anyone post your work on their websites
would I mind if he made money for posting my work? no. If he has the nerve to do it let him.
would I mind if he made money from it and claimed ownership of it? hell yeah!
-
I just want to add that madmatt gets real pissed at guys who post "his" mods on their websites
he "hunts" them down and threatens them(with a lawyer?)
all madmatt does is zip up others work and uploads it to a free ftp service, which is great
but do "mod" makers really want their work to be exclusive to his site?
I just thought this was _odd_ as well as all the madmatt "praisers"
-
pham snap out of it
-
I think the "mod" makers should not submit their work to madmatt as he will profit off of their work, while they get nothing
it would be like battlefront getting 100% money from combat mission while bigtime software gets nothing, does this concept register?
also those of you who praise madmatt let me say this, he is not a very nice person at all
I was in his chatroom and he decided to have fun with me and kick me from the channel
why? no reason at all, I had done nothing to prompt the action
MadBot: now THAT was funny
swamp: what happened?
McAuliffe: hey...he's awake
MadBot: I made a humerous example outa you
MadBot: swamp was the first boot-o-the-day
McAuliffe: bad mood Mad ?
*** MadBot changes topic to 'Combat Mission and the fact that I have full control over your pathetic lives while you are here?'
there are hundreds of free chat servers out their where we one could create their own chatroom, it's not worth the abuse for me to use his
this guy deserves no praise, he's a parasite
thanks Pham911

takes 7 t-8's to carry an inf platoon thats split into halfsquads, not a big worry there
it's too bad, or good, the t-8's don't carry more ammo in there though

Swamp good to see you Jason and I thought you had left. Good to see I was wrong.

thank you good sir
jason told me on icq to get my a$$ back in the chat so I did, ehehe
anyway, I notice you're there now too so I'm gonna say hi to you there...
also Rob/1, have you ever dropped into madmatt's chatroom? it's linked on the cmhq!
-
it would make total sense if player #2 has viewing access to all the parameters of the battle before he purchased his units...
I think the attack/defend ratio is good, we are not striving for historical accuracy here, we are striving for a level playing feild
Deadmarsh has a valid concern, player #1 could set up an assult or probe ratio without player #2 knowing, which could make for a lopsided battle and a poor ladder game match-up
-
yes to the aar, rob
thank you

hmm, beat me
maybe the maker of the zip put in the wrong files - your guess is as good as mine at this point
here's an interesting info: the hellcat can race across 28 twenty-meter grids of grass in sixty seconds, in-other-words thats 560 meters, wow!
eheh
-
did you restart cm since installing?
-
oh I see you installed the velvet grids then
dunno what could be the matter then
-
there's no transparency, the lines are painted onto the grass
is it possible you put in the grided ones first then replaced them with the velvet ungrided?
fuckin lame graphics

Mark IV, thanks for tagging me as a genius, but all of my opponents have already given me that title.
