  1. After downloading some mod files (Red Icons), do not know where to put them. Tried in the "Data" folder, but that didn't work. Also tried the "Game Files" and "Resources" folders, but did not work there either.

Are the mod files supposed to replace some existing files? Am not able to find a file with all the "bmp" files.

  2. Seeing the same problem, I found that it only occurs in I don't select one of the three movement choices: Double Time, Dash or Crawl. Once you select those, I usually select Dash, the officers will stick with their men.

The initial "whatever" movement mode, seems to tell the men, "just wander around". Selecting Dash has also kept my guys alive longer than not selecting a movement mode from the beginning.

  4. I'm totally impressed with the tech savvy here. I'm running OSX and have tried all the suggested fixes for getting CMBB to work. Once the map shows up I can see the units fine, but everything else is a blue, wavey mess. The OSX fixes work great on my G4 PB, but on my desktop w/cinema display, no go. BTW booting under 9.2 having removed the Classic Rave is when I get the blue waves. Other tries get nothing.

  5. 1. Everytime I make changes and leave preview, when I go back into preview all the units are back in lines again. Very frustrating.

    2. The bases aren't changing color to match the zone I've put them in.

    3. i've played numerous operations in which the reinforcements show up in groups, not a line of units at the back of the map. Not that this is a huge deal, since you can move them anyway, but when you're dealing with a big map, I would love to know how Wild Bill, for example, has his operations reinforcements show up in groups?

  6. I'm designing an operation, but I'm having several problems placing the units.

    1. When I place the units in different colored zones, they don't stay in the zones when I go back into "preview".

    2. When starting the scenario, only "locked" units don't go back into a long line of units at the back of the map.

    3. Reinforcements show up as a long line at the back of the map instead of in groups.

I've played scenarios and operations with all the things I'm trying to do, but can't seem to duplicate them.

I've found the "reinforcement post" in the scenario builder, but the operation building is where I'm having all the problems.

    Can somone help...?

  8. Thanks guys for the tips. I've already upgraded to 1.03 hoping to solve this. I will try targeting no matter what.

As for being stupid for being in a war, I agree, except that those real "stupid" people started the war. After that, real people made the sacrifice to stop an agressive expansion, not because they liked fighting over playing baseball.

War is stupid, but notice how they don't start all by themselves....
