    Newbie question - how to approach an unsecure area with infantry?

    Okay, maybe this is a simlpe question, but bear with me:

    You have three platoons infantry, some sharpshooters, LMGs. You face a possible enemy village. How do you approach it?

    Simply walking in with your infantry, on the open street, pretty as you please? Send in one squad to recon and draw fire? send in sharpshooters first to recon?

    What would you do?

    strange infanterie behaviour in urban fights

    Hi, everyone,

    while CM surely is fun in rural or small-village areas, there are things I don't like in urban fights.

    The worst thing is the way troops move from house to house. Order them to sneak into house directly beside the one they are in always causes them to: 1) leave the house in an orderly fashion through the front door 2) walk over street to front door of next door 3) ringing the bell and 4) enter the house through front door.

    BTS should make either bigger houses (whole house rows which behave like one single house) or give the troops the capability to enter house from whatever direction they come from, e.g. directly from the top storey of the neighboring house.

    Or, I'd like the engineers to have the possibility to blast wholes into walls and go through them from house to house...
