  1. OK sounds good, how do I find them? For Arma there was armaholic, and awesome user site with lots of things, anything like that for battlefront? Or a helpful link?
  2. I just re-downloaded CM after not playing for a bit and was looking for a bit of advice on what the best place to get user made missions is or some direct recommendations? I've been playing and creating stuff for Arma before and know user made stuff can sometimes be excellent. I had a look at the Battlefront depositary but found it quite hard to navigate and many of the missions were lacking descriptions. Missions based or inspired on real life events would be nice, but any good quality ones would be welcome. I found a mission called “Joint Venture” and enjoyed that. Can anyone give me recommendations or point me to a nice location to find some good missions?
  3. Excellent, help desk contacted me within a few hours and said new copies of the game don't have a limit on downloads, so they cancelled my old version and gave a code to get a new copy. All fixed now. Was very good service, took a few days, but I think that was more a time-zone problem slowing things down than anything else. When I send an email at 9.30 am here, it is 4.30am in the US. I'm going to put in another ticket just to let them know the email on the website is out of date, I suspect I may not be the only one who has tried to contact them on it.
  4. 6 email total on 3 separate occasions. I was using the email given to me on the store page here http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_contact&task=view&contact_id=3&Itemid=3 In fact that is the only place the store page told me to contact from what I can see. If there was a link to the ticket page it was not very clear, and they should not really have this under support if it is not the support email... Anyway I will send another request in now with the link you just posted. Thank you. I will let you know how it works out .
  5. I have sent two to helpdesk@battlefront.com and another to a different email I found but that was a few months ago and I can't remember exactly the one I sent it too. I've used both the in browser email on http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_contact&task=view&contact_id=3&Itemid=3 and I have sent the emails from my own account to them. I have not had any return, in fact no response at all. I was starting to think the company had shut down. It makes me reluctant to get any of the other Combat Mission games, and I simply can't get the NATO forces module I was planning on. edit, lol when I copy pasted the help email it added the line "helpdesk@battlefront.com is e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it" would that be stopping my emails? Shouldn't as I used both the in built response and my personal email.
  6. Hi, I'm having some trouble contacting customer support. In 2009 I got the Combat Mission Shock Force + Marines bundle and a month or so alter the British Forces add-on. A few year after this my hard drive died, and I have moved onto many computers even since that was replaced. Somewhere over the years my backup download went missing and I hoped to be able to re-download the game. I was even thinking of picking up the NATO expansion or maybe Black Sea as they were good games that I'd like to play again. Unfortunately the download has expired, I read on this forum that you can contact customer service and for a small fee they can reactivate your download, but after sending 3 emails to them over a number of months I have had no reply. Is there any other way to download the game client? I have my own key so that wont be a problem. Or another way to contact customer support? I'm turning to the forums here as a last resort, hoping they know what's going on. Thanks.
