Does anyone know where I can get some good information on how to best use my artillery?

I'm getting slaughtered every time I attack a position with a trench. I've tried flanking the trench with infantry guns. Moving around behind the trench and out of frustration a frontal assault. Anyone have any good tactics to assault a trench?
