LukeFF
I've played this twice now from the U.S. side and have had a rough time of it in both instances. On the first attempt, I tried to flank to the right, which resulted in my forces being pummeled. Second time was a little bit better, as I tried a more direct approach up the main road, but I had not made much progress against the final objective when time ran out. So, any tips for this one?
stikkypixie
I played it against a human, and he had set up his defensive line in Bocage rows on the right, which could easily be flanked.
JyriErik
Simple. Don't attack up the main road. I went with a right hook myself and only after flanking the main line of defense did anything come down the road. As to why your attempt along the right failed, without knowing what happened, my generic advice is that while it is important to move quickly, don't rush things either. Thinking back on it now, I'm pretty sure where I went wrong.
