I just finished watching all the episodes. It's seriously awesome and suspiciously addictive, and VERY well made. Every episode is better then the previous one. I loved the sniper duel (way to go, Butch!) and episodes 10-15 are definitely MUST SEEs!

Patrick managed to capture the essence of what Combat Mission is about!

Sounds great but I cannot find the post by Moon nor the videos on YouTube. Care to share a pointer?

Ok I'm blind it is posted here:

I spend all my time reading threads and often don't look at the announcements very frequently. My bad.

The announcements can get kinda hidden when you do not look at the actual game forum index page very often (which many people don't, they instead look at "Today's Posts" for example). But another good place to make sure you don't miss news is to visit www.battlefront.com once in a while ;) (you can subscribe to the newsfeed from the entire site here: http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_rss&feed=RSS2.0&no_html=1 )

(And there are also RSS feeds for individual games in each game's web area)

Or if you have Facebook, join (or "like") the BFC page, thats where I get all my news from.

Very well done. I got sucked into it. Now its 4am. Thanks a lot

I love how the narrator explains how "sonic compression" from a near miss incapacitates a member of a GI squad when in reality it scored a direct hit on his face as the first round from every tank does when fired on infantry in my humble combat mission experience.

Fantastic!

I have looked at the first 2 episodes and can’t wait to see the others.

Being done by a professional, if I am not surprised by the very realistic story board and the way the assembling of the shots has been done, I am astonished by the fantastic work done in using FRAPS and by the CBMN editor’s possibilities to create the scenes to comply with the story board.

Patrick. T. Ware has done something that will surely give some ideas to others. Its ToVC concept has obtained such a perfection, that the FRAPS recording that were seen previously are a long way behind.

Thumb Up ! Bravo!

+1 to all the comments here - very professional work! The editing and storyboarding here beats much of the stuff on actual TV!

The voices in the interviews where a bit jarring at first but I was surprised that I actually got used to them.

With your new found fame however, Im sure it would be no problem at all to round up some volunteer voice actors for your next project :)

excellent work.

It was so good, it almost puts me to sleep like every other history show I watch does.

But so does watching football, so dont feel bad, that is a compliment:)

Really a great effort and a fine example of the work you are able to do.

Hope it pays off for you in some way. Maybe a job with a real history show, now that would be something!!!

Very nice work! Have to definitely watch the whole series!

But one thing got me wondering. The battle in the beginning is said to be happening 10th of June. I doubt that it is historically possible that so large German unit would have been able to hide few miles behind US lines just 4 days after the landings. The occupied area was quite small and I'd say that it was quite packed with troops. But of course i can be totally wrong :) But nevertheless great enjoyment value!
