Winks
Anyone have any idea - trying to install CM from the CD onto my new PC (1.4 ghz, 40 meg hd, 256k ram, Windows ME). It gets to 8% and then asks for the disk with the data3.cab file. There is no such file on the original CD. Did not have this problem with original install on my old PC. Any help greatly appreciated. Schrullenhaft
Go to the C:\WINDOWS\TEMP directory and delete all files and directories/folders you find in there. The problem you are seeing is due to files from a previous installation (of another program or driver) that utilized the Windows Installer. Once these files are deleted you should be able to run the CMBO installer with no problems (otherwise it requires a little registry hacking).
