Erwin
I had the same problem. In case this is helpful to others: I found that even though I had the correct path, the .exe file installed to a subfolder of the CMA folder instead of the main CMA folder. Moving the files in the subfolder to the main folder and replacing what was there fixed the issue and 1.03 CMA runs fine now.

Rosseau
See, and Martin blamed it on me or my virus software At least it's easily fixed.
Moon
There is no problem in the installer as far as I can tell. You need to pay attention to the install path. It's easy to miss that sometimes the path will double into something like C:\Programs\Battlefront\CM Afghanistan\CM Afghanistan Notice the double entry at the end.
Erwin
The question is why does the installer do something weird like double the last folder? I love the implication that it's somehow the users' fault hehe. It's obviously not something at least several of us here expected (like the Spanish Inquisition etc.).
Lethaface
Here the installer detected my installation fine (installed in c:\games\CMA\) Of course it is the users fault!
Rosseau
I tend to doubt it's a path problem. We've all been installing and patching these games for years. But it's not a big deal, either. We'll see what happens on the next patch. It's just good to be aware of. The first time I saw this in CMBN, I copied over the dll from another BF game, and couldn't believe it worked. Kind of got off on solving my own problem for a change, you know?
