You
Hi, long time CM player has a problem with my computer when I reformatted and upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows 2000. CM, along with just about every other game goes all wacky. What happens is when the game runs, it splits the screen into 4 separate mini-screens. The game runs, but with those 4 mini-screens. I have tried reloading my 3DfX drivers, DirectX, and a bunch of other things. Here are my stats... Pentium 2 500 Voodoo 3 2000 3DfX card (16MB) DirectX 8.0A (required) Really old Plug and Play 14" Monitor Can anyone direct me how I can fix this problem? I am in the middle of a PBEM game, but had to format due to pressing problems, but Windows 2000 made everything gamewize go weird. (Note, Windows itself works fine, except that occasionally the "Start" bar freezes up, but eventually unfreezes...) Thanks in advance.
Schrullenhaft
It seems like you are trying to run CM at a resolution that your 14" monitor can't handle. I'd suggest deleting the Prefs file and reselecting your resolution. You may also want to select a more appropriate monitor profile for Windows itself (though a lot of generic monitors may not match to a specific profile completely).
