Would a campaign/scenarios optimised for defence make a nice change?

Really just thinking allowed but I think it may be fun to have some scenarios and campaigns optimised for defence. I find defending can add a sense of desperation that attack does not quite equal.

Both can be fun, but my most tense games have been playing the role of the defender. But there are not many such games and I think no campaigns.

We are lucky to have CM....

Have to agree. A lot of time and thought can go into setting up units in optimal defensive positions. Then there's decisions to be made when a breakthrough looks imminent. Should you send the last Panzer up to close the breech.... or exit your forces to fight in the next prepared defence (the next scenario of the campaign)?

Having these choices within a campaign would be a great test of tactical skills.....
