Georgie Posted June 5, 2011 Share Posted June 5, 2011 I have installed and activated CMBN. I back up my internal hard drive weekly using an external hard drive. If I experience a computer crash severe enough that I have to reinstall the operating system will the game activation be saved on the external hard drive or do I have to use one of my spare activations? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If this is an image you are restoring, it would, it seems to me at least, be back in the state it was before the crash, only on a new replacement drive, not sure how the activation process works exactly, but seems to me it would have a hard time knowing the difference between the before and after states of this image. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
