Lets_All_Fight
I love this one: http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?p=201076#post201076 Lol..I remember that one. It's the most useful guide to military designations I've ever read. The W stood for WHOOSH, not "woosh". You'll never be a tank-grog making basic mistakes like that.

sburke
http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=94572 Thanks for bumping this one again. Doing all of this for a game system that we knew didn't have the right terrain fidelity and effects was never considered viable. It's why in 2001, half way through programming CMBB, we decided the CMx1 game engine had to be abandoned and a new engine created if we wanted push the envelope again. Especially if we wanted infantry to be the focus of Combat Mission, and we very much did. Enter CMx2... And thank you battlefront for having the cohones to make this decision and forge ahead. A larger game company may have said why mess with a valid game that is bringing in money. You guys know what you/us really want and made what I feel is a brave business decision potentially putting at risk your livelihood. Kudo's and glad it has paid off. Even if I didn't know there would be additional modules coming out, I am so thrilled with CMBN I would continue to applaud the decision. Now hurry up so we can get back to Market garden and the Bulge. Yeah yeah stop bowing, back to your cells all of you! Christ bad as the Oscars listening to the "I'd like to thank God and my Mum without whom....."
