About ATI Mobility Radeon and Catalyst

Recommended Posts

Until now if you were the owner of a laptop with ATI Mobility Radeon card, you couldnt update drivers or to install the latest Catalyst Control program.

Now, its possible. There is a mod file that changes several script lines in ATI Catalyst and you can update your laptop graphic card.

See here:

You also need to download the Catalyst program in www.ati.com selecting your O.S. graphic drivers and Radeon cards in menu. Dont be afraid, its easy easy easy. You only follow the steps in the first link I have included.

It works very well in my Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D 1840 with ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 laptop.

Most probably not as such. This only modifies one set of drivers to work on notebooks and doesn't change anything about the driver itself.

Now, if a set of drivers is not available for your notebook and you figure it might fix the problems, then this enables you to try those drivers.

What drivers and notebook do you have?
