DavidFields
I am looking forward to blasting through walls in a Stalingrad tractor factory. But I am having a hard time imagining WW 2 demo charges being used in buildings in this way. My guess is that this was well, well, researched, or....ported over from CMSF because the functionality was there?
womble
Mouseholing charges were commonly issued.
akd
Search "mouseholing" and "Battle of Ortona."
ChrisND
Blasting away the whole wall is definitely overkill, strictly speaking, even in modern day. I believe it that it that way to simplify the AI and simulation instead of dealing with smaller holes.
