deadeye3
Ok I am in this weird situation that I'm sure some of you have also been in. I am currently running ver 1.1 A few others I know are running 1.2 and want me to start a new game with them. I considered installing CM onto my partitioned D: drive. However since CM already exists on my C: drive the only thing I can get the setup program to do is allow me to reinstall or repair (as far as installation is concerend). How can I install on my other drive and upgrade to that version while I finish my current games in the previous version? Thx for the help deadeye3 P.S. not looking to infringe on the licensing agreement, just want to be able to keep playing
Schrullenhaft
Does the install program allow you to select the directory where it gets installed ? If so, then type in a different directory than the default. If this somehow doesn't work, then create a different directory on your hard drive and copy the contents of the CM CD to it, while maintaining the directory structure (though you won't need the SETUP program). Create a shortcut for your desktop/menu and differentiate it from your other version by renaming it.
deadeye3
Copy my current dir to another dir. Doh! Now why didn't I think of that? Thx! I'll try that. You know if the answer would have been a snake I would have gotten bitten. deadeye3
