using the editor.. can I modify the troops in an existing scenario? I figured out how to add.. but cannot seem to getthe troops that are on the map open to amend their qualities.. is this something I am supposed to be able to do?

Can you clarify a little? You should be able to edit troop properties on the Purchase screen, then adjust their disposition on the map with the Deploy option.

The only place you can modify the units in a scenario is in the "Units" section of the editor. You cannot amend or modify them while in the 3D map view or in the deployment screens (3D map with truppen on it). Once in the "Units" section, just look down near the bottom and you can alter their motivation and experience levels etc.

Open the scenario in the editor. Chose "Units" in the drop down menu to the upper left and the side you want to edit. The units in the scenario are on the right hand side of the unit screen. Edit them by highlighting them and then change the values in the drop down menus at the bottom of the screen.

That was what I was trying to do.. well, maybe I was expecting to be able to see something I am not

I figured out my error, I had loaded the scenario and found out the units etc drop down.. I did not see the + next to the unit.. which unless opened you do not get the details of the troops, and thus see the changes.. thanks again.. I knew there must be some little detail I was missing...
