Holman
Hi all, I fondly remember the old CMx1 days when I had two or three PBEMs going at all times. Somehow I never got into playing against humans in CMSF, but now I'm ready for some more of the old knockabout a la bocage. Is there a club or ladder where CMBN players will be gathering? Thanks!

Abn Air Cav
I used to PBEM with the old LeadEaters, and migrated when it kinda became the Blitz, so they've been around for a number of years. The Combat Mission ladder is at http://www.theblitz.org/ladders/Combat-Mission/action=ladder&lid=1, and the Combat Mission forum is http://www.theblitz.org/message_boards/forumdisplay.php?fid=10. That's where I plan to continue to do the majority of my CM PBEM, but there are other Combat Mission ladders out there, too.
dieseltaylor
WeBoB http://www.webandofbrothers.de/ Very international which is handy for people on shifts or retired. Probably the largest group being Norht Americans. Not a ladder club though all games are recorded on the mighty BoBster. That allows us senile folk to remember whom we played and when. It gets tricky after the first hundred. Only downside is the joining procedure but we do try to weed out players who drop games or go walkabout for two weeks without mentioning it BEFORE they join the club. A lot of "retired" members returning to the club ... about 5 in a week. Cannot think why!
Sgt Joch
WeBoB is a good club, good tournaments and CMBN PBEMs and already being set up. The joining requirements are not that rigorous, after all they let me in.
